Take a large tin of pilchards or Sardines (in tomato sauce), empty the contents and mash them up with some of the sauce.
Make a batch of pancakes (according to your usual recipe), put a quantity of the mashed pilchard/sardine mixture on each pancake and roll it up.
Lay the pancake rolls in an ovenproof dish, pour over a cheese sauce (or plain white sauce) and sprinkle on top with some of your favourite grated cheese.
Bake in the oven for around 15 mins at 375 for about 20 minutes or until browned.
Serve with your choice of vegetable.
Now marvel, that against all your worst expectations, you actually enjoyed it.
