Hello guys good evening

I just want to ask something about what am I going to do next, I am here in England for 1 week now, and Me and my fiance are planning to get married on June but before we get married, what am i going to do next? Do I need to get health insurance or anything? or what else should i get before getting married? I really don't have any idea..my friend told me that I can get now my GP and NHS, is that true? is there any forms to get all of these?

If you have any idea, please help us

Thank you so much..

Grace and Adam xx

My wife just registered with her local GP, no tricky questions asked. The process took about 10 days. And has already made use of the NHS having seen the doctor once for which she was given a prescription for medicine. However she is on a Spouse visa. I am not certain about the Fiancee Visa route.

She also had to fill out a form but this was a formality really.

You can register to a GP and NHS in a Fiancee Visa. I did that a week after I got here. They will give you a form to fill up in the surgery of your choice. Just bring your passport, birth certificate and any other identification you have. It seems that different surgeries ask for different stuffs so better be prepared. Hello Graceadam we are on the same visa the first thing we did before before i went to registered to a GP or NHS is first my fiance ent an email to council to declare them that i am living with my fiance address and that after 10 days or so we have recieve the letter from the council confirming that i am now living with him.. U cant register to your any GP unless to hve this letter so this is what you hve need.. Glad that i hve register in GP and NHS specially that i am preggy lifes makes me easy and not paying anything any of my check ups plus hospital is free Amazing NHS card.
