Hello, Just found this forum and would like to introduce myself. My name is Alan and I live near Durham City, been chatting to a lady in the Philippines for just over a year now. I feel now might be the best time to meet and just wondered if I should visit The philippines or invite my lady friend to visit me here first in the UK and if so whats involved. What sort of visa would she need, How long could she stay in the UK and as I would be footing the Bill how much might it cost?

There are many threads on here advising you the requirements for most visa applications.
In my opinion your probably better off jumping on a plane and going to meet your Mahal as visit visas can be difficult to get and are quite often refused.

Don't worry Marco. Spammers just try to spread their advertising rubbish all over our site. We try to remove it before it appears but some slip it through when we blink. We soon catch up and remove it. If you see unusual links or re-directs to web addresses just contact a mod or report the post and we can deal with it.
