From our personal viewpoint, I asked that exact question of our advisor. She said that the UKBA normally expect bank statements to be not much more than about 4 or 5 weeks old. Our concern at the time was that my bank statements were dated around 2nd of August and our submission was due to go in at the end of August - just the way the timing went for us. In the end they went in to VFS at just that about 4 and half weeks old. We got the visa...

I said, "should we wait till Septembers statement(s) and then post them out to the Philippines" and then submit the application. She said, "there's no need".

Judging from what I know, I would say yes, good idea.....:xxgrinning--00xx3: The online printout is fine aslong as it is stamped and signed by the bank....
