sorry i have to post a new one here, please :Help1:

i just research online about my husband principality account, it states there that their statements are released annually and which we had this january but the statement just shows the last amount from December 2011 ( we have no recent transaction with them till now) there is also a letter confirming the amount is true and correct and its on the headed paper of the principality bank, my husband requested for a years worth but they said they will just give us a copy same like what we have on the bank book. :bigcry: So what can we do? Can we just scan the bank book since they are just giving us same copy? and then attach the letter they gave us confirming the amount of savings from December?? :Help1::Help1::Help1::Help1:

All banks have to give you hard copies if requested, at a cost, usually £2-£5 each. Phone them up and tell them they are required for a court case :)

thanks win, thats what i told my husband.. its his right to have copies i dont know whats wrong with Natwest why cant they stamped it. I am just wondering if we can snipped out the online screen of his statements then go Natwest and ask for a letter confirming that these statements are true and correct, will they pass?? if we wait for new copies it will take another week!

He should be able to order them from his online banking account.

I had the same problem with Nationwide. The solution was to just take the copies into the bank and get them to stamp and sign them. The act of signing and stamping them was free.
