I developed quite a taste for garlic when in the Phils...and eat loads of it in my food now.

Maybe that's why I have no friends. :Erm: :cwm3:

I tried to bring my Mrs back 2 Kilos of cooked fresh king prawns ones from R.P....Well..They were fresh when I left but a bit manky when I arrived.. The British customs were not that impressed but not as disappointed as my wife when I presented them to her..
Bolloxs to the lot of them...I fried them up with a little Oyster sauce and ate them myself..
Damned good if you ask me..Washed down with a swift Heineken.
Women eh!!

i just bought a couple packets of the adobo flavoured ones at the weekend in the local thai store in haymarket, might not let the wife get them when she get here if they smell as bad as steve says.

I do not wonder, Steve ... it has a very pungent odour. I remember a former colleague of mine who used to chew raw garlic ... and the boss - a scouser - always banned her from entering his room after she'd been doing so, because the smell it left on her breath was overpowering! :readingpapers:
