Yes. They seem to be taking a little bit longer at the moment. We were lucky, I think, as we applied when processing times were a bit quicker. Hang on in there!

You are not actually advised to book a ticket unless your visa application is approved..
If you have all the requirements of applying for a spouse visa then you can do so. There are helpful threads here regarding this..
Good luck to you and welcome to this friendly forum...:)

Why would anyone buy an air ticket to a country for which they don't (yet) have a visa ?
So no, you don't need an air ticket to apply for a visa, though they usually ask what dates you plan to travel...but that's all. :)

Hello. I also lodged my fiancee visa application last March 27. But still heard nothing. The last email I received was last Mar. 31 saying that my visa apllication was under process at the British Embassy. Sigh.... Hope to hear good news soon.

Yep - lodged my Fiance application on the same day in Manila and nothing yet, just confirmation that the application is under process. Every day I think of things that might go wrong but there's nothing I can do for now. We are both just waiting and praying.

Hi there guys my wife is also waiting here spouse visa she made her application on the 20th of march and tomorrow it will be 6 weeks we have been waiting
It sure hurts so much to be left waiting wondering will everything be ok
My wife rotsen made here own application we did not use any agents to help us so I hope she can have here visa soon
She was asking me about chest x ray last night cause she think they could ask for this when she is able to travel here but I told here I think she would not need cause I plan when she is granted a visa to fly her from Cebu to Amsterdam then a easy jet flight to Belfast
Anyway everybody that is waiting just now just pray and never give up soon we will be all reunited it's our right and to refuse such a right is a crime against human progress

We received ours at 10.30am Philippino time, almost exactly 8 weeks after we submitted it in Manila.
