I'm a male UK citizen, permanently resident in London, and my fiancee is a female Philippine citizen, resident in Manila. We both have good professional careers. We want to live together (and work) in London as soon as possible. Would it be quicker to get married in the UK or the Philippines?
What I need to know is, is the marriage visa or the fiancee visa better in terms of time? The crucial element for us is her permission to work in the UK. She can't really come here until she can work.
Any advice gratefully received.
