just had a email from brittish gas , telling me the tarrif i am on is finnishing soon, i am on the cheapest tarrif and if i change to this new one they offer this,a 4% discount of there standerd rate from june 2012 till jan 2014 and a£50 energy credit too, this credit will be added in nov this year, all sounds good to me, my bills are very good i think, i pay direct debit gas £28 and electric £35 each month, just wondering what others pay

I an in a one bed flat, electric only
I switched the night storage heaters off on the 1st April after having it on for 4 months I pay £38.00 a month.

I have no gas but electricity is expensive here, unfortunately...
I wish my bill was as low as yours.

£101 per month combined gas/electric online tariff Scottish Power.
A couple of months ago I signed up to this Big Switch scheme and I think Which are holding their reverse auction with energy suppliers soon so hopefully they will get some good rates

We are a £120 on gas and £35 on electric each month :(

What you're paying now seems pretty reasonable to me Steve. :)
Don't forget ALL HOME-OWNERS can now get their walls insulated and loft topped up free of charge, regardless of income/benefits etc. *Owners of mansions may have to pay extra.
The latest scheme, and funded out of your bills by the power companies.

Mine is £70 for gas and £27 for eleccie although my Gas is higher because it takes into account a £200 bill I received last month for the previous 3 months, but I think over the summer (if we have one) it will equalise out a bit..
