As previously posted, my fiance is in the phils now expecting our baby. After the baby is born we will be applying for a fiance visa for her to come to the UK. I went to an immigration advice office a couple of months back here in Liverpool and they said they would help we with the application process for a fee of £350. I went back today to ask them about processing times and a new advisor told me the fee has now risen for advice to £650 plus vat.

Does anyone have an opinion if professional advice is necessary in these applications?

thanks in advance

Hello. I would suggest that if you are confident with all your documents there's no need to hire an immigration adviser as it will just cost you. Make sure you have all the necessary documents for applying the fiance visa. Good luck:)
