Hello guys,
Would like to ask about the following documents to be submitted for the application of my FLR:

Bank statements - is it very necessarily it to be a joint account? We'll just submit my husband's 3 months bank statements and pay slips, and mine as a new opened account.

Proof of accommodation - does it all needs to be in joint names as well? I only got 1 proof of accommodation that is in joint names and the rest are in my name alone and his.

About the application - do I need to apply online first before posting my documents or I could just send it directly without an online application?

When will I start counting the 6 months duration of my fiancée visa, is it from the day I received my visa or from the day I arrived here in the UK? I just want to know when my visa will expire because I received it December 6, 2011 and I arrived here in the UK December 23. Will it expire on the 6th of June or 23rd of June this year?

I will appreciate your answers guys.
Thank you.

April

1. no it doesnt need to be in joint account. 2. it doesnt need to be in joint names either (basically its just the same docs.that u submitted when u applied for ur fiancee visa but its the updated papers) 3. u can get the application form online b4 posting and u need to book for biometric appointment online. 4. ur visa validation is shown in ur passport and it is what exactly it says there, no matter when u left in the phil.

What if the visa expires already before we submitted it?

You don't need to book for biometrics appointment online. After the visa application has been posted (if by post), you have to wait for UKBA's letter for your biometrics. If you're doing the PEO, biometrics will be done the same day.

You should submit your application BEFORE your visa expires. In a Fiancee Visa, you can apply for FLR right away after you got married. Expiration of the Fiancee Visa is stated on your visa in the passport.

You would be submitting your hubby's bank statements and no need for your's.

At this stage, such a requirement is more regarded in terms of *confirmation that you're still living together under the same roof ... for *which purpose, Council Tax Bills - in joint names - are generally adequate. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
