No probs....he'll be bringing me a free Pizza home from his evening job. :D

My brother lives in a posh house in Royal Tunbridge Wells.

I always wash the car, put a clean shirt on and polish my shoes, but still feel like a Northern Peasant when visiting the place. :cwm3:

Excellent Arthur - once you complete the passport application and Mrs L goes for their face to face interview the next thing arriving at your door will be the "asylum seeker" in a beat up old car delivering her British passport.

Sounds unbelievable but it is true I've had them turn up twice in the last 4 or 5 years, these are the sort of operations the Passport Office subcontracts delivery of identity documents to

Do you know what's the odds of winning the jackpot in the premium bonds?

The online lottery syndicate I am competing with offers this. Our lottery syndicate only plays the main lotto and I plan to stay same but just curious.

I can't even find the odds in google for premium bonds.

You are right the odds are more in your favour but as this article says if you don't win that is the end of your stake, if I don't it goes into the next months draw and I can always cash them in and withdraw my money anytime http://www.thisismoney.co.uk/money/saving/article-1585153/Premium-bonds.html

Good luck with your syndicate :xxgrinning--00xx3:

Good for you Ded :xxgrinning--00xx3:
You gotta be in it to win it and your money is safe..unlike the numerous lotteries.

When my dad was alive he had the maximum allowed for a household, £30, 000....the biggest prize what came through the door was £ 200.

Cheers Gwap. My late Mum and Dad had the same (it's actually £30k each) and I remember them getting a £500 once - the odds were better then pre 2008 when the Labour government reduced the number of prizes.

Unlike odds for the horses, dogs and poker the odds for winning a life changing amount run into many millions to one, whether u are in a syndicate or not.

Better chance of winning in a syndicate, I grant you compared to being on your lonesome still, millions to one though ....Its in God's hands...if its mean't to be, so be it :xxgrinning--00xx3:

My grandad used to win every month back when he had about 50,000 pounds worth of bonds.... However the most he ever won was £1000 in one hit... Guarantee at least 2 or 3 £25 or £50 ones a month though.... Sadly he retired a long time ago and cashed in most of his bonds. Don't think he has won anything for a few years now.

I also won the bingo jackpot in a hotel in Benidorm much to the disgust of the pensioners. :icon_lol:
