hi guys is there anyone had a experience of reporting thier marriage at the philippine embassy?
we were married 10 years now and and we get married in uk and I didnt know that I have to report it to the embassy.My questions are 1: can i report my marriage anywhere ?
like I'm in Saudi now can I report it here
or have to be in uk Philippine embassy?

Well, technically, you are only "requested" to report your marriage so that the marriage can be registered at NSO and duly recognized in the Philippines
There's actually no legal requirement to do this.

However, you'll be required to provide the report if you want to renew your passport with change of name to married name.

Any registrations made that are more than 12 months after the actual date of marriage is going to be subject to a penalty fee for late registration.
I think this is now an extra £18 so not too much.

Just report at the Local Embassy. I'd suggest a call or e-mail first to check procedure as generally you don't need to make a personal appearance, just do it by mail.
