Well he survived quite a bit longer than they said he would. Don't feel that he should have ever been released and allowed to return home to a heroes welcome, for such a terrible crime.

They'll be waving the flags :Britain: :Britain: :Britain: ... instead of flying them at half mast.

Whoever was responsible for the Lockerbie bombing deserved to be put away of course. But was this guy involved? The evidence appears a little tenuous.

"Investigators tracing the origins of scraps of clothes wrapped around the bomb followed a trail to a shop in Malta which led them, eventually, to Megrahi"
Was the shop in Malta the only outlet for this clothing?

I tried to google the evidence. But couldnt see anything of any substance. And there is a strong lobby outwith Libya that suggests he is innocent.
I am not Libya's biggest fan ( I worked there for 3 years and saw it full on) but I would still like to think they got the right man.

I believe he's one of the men. I wonder whether with the new regime now in Libya will we ever get to the whole truth of this tragedy and who ultimately was behind this bombing. I'm sure the evidence must be over there somewhere.
