:cwm24: ... oh, dear! Mind you, he didn't exactly look too healthy last year, when he was the subject of TV's 'Who Do You Think You Are?'. :NoNo:

Oh that's sad.

RIP Robin.

I only ever bought one of their records....Massachussetts (sp).

Shame as he was only 62. Had some great hits in my teenage years.

Robin Gibb and the Bee Gees, a major force in music for so many years.
Very sad.
Seemed one of good guys.

I thought he was the last, but appears Barry is still alive.

Don't hear much of him now. :Erm:

There's an older sister, Lesley [b. 1945] ... the eldest of the family. And I believe his elderly mother is also still alive. ;)

I read somewhere, that - along with his son, Robin Jr - he co-wrote a Requiem to commemorate the centenary of the Titanic disaster ... but was too ill to attend its recent premiere, due to his cancer being aggravated by pneumonia. :bigcry:

and we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive.
