Emigration to New Zealand

My Filipino partner thinks he will be able to emigrate to new Zealand but having looked at a NZ website I don't think it will be possible-he is a waiter with no qualifications and the only family he has there are cousins.I thought you had to be a skilled worker.What do you think-do you know anyone in a similar situation?

I think it could be difficult, if i'm correct the employer has to say why a New zealander could not be found to do the job.

It all seems to be based on points and sponsorship to be honest, skilled occupations that are in demand.

that's true too, well its probably based on the Australian Immigration system, as is the UK one.
