My fiance received this today after sending an email last Saturday to ManilaVisaEnquiries@fco.gov.uk that we found in the complaints page of the UKBA.

Dear Mr melovesengland,

Thank you for your email of 26 May concerning the visa refusal of your fiancee, Ms melovesengland.

Please note that due to the Data Protection Act, we can only discuss personal details with individual visa applicants or their authorized representative. In the absence of confirmation from Ms melovesengland that she is happy for you to act on her behalf, we are unable to provide you with further information regarding her visa application.

Your email, however, has been forwarded to the Entry Clearance Manager (ECM) for reconsideration. We will send a response directly to the applicant as soon as we receive an advice from the ECM when her visa application has been reconsidered.

Yours sincerely,

Ms B Pastolero

Sir Arthur, Sir Terpe and the rest, how about this? Do you think it'll work? :Erm:

Hmm ... ... suppose it's a start! But, there again ... who knows? :anerikke:

Between the two of you, you've taken steps to have your case reviewed by an Entry Clearance Manager (which I'm very pleased to see!) And it'll be interesting, now, to find out what Terpe and Joe's respectve opinions are - based on their expertise. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
