Freddie Roach wants KO win
Freddie Roach wants a knockout, but he’ll settle for a dominant win by Manny Pacquiao Saturday night.
The Hall of Fame trainer gave Pacquiao the thumbs-up sign as they closed training camp at the Wild Card Gym here for the long drive to Las Vegas.
He let Pacquiao spar for four rounds with Kevins Hoskins, did the mitts with the eight-division world champion and wound up satisfied.
“Good job,” Roach said as he patted Pacquiao at the back. “He’s been very good to me.”
Roach later told Manila-based sportswriters: “He’s sharp. We have a good training camp, one of the best ever.”
That’s why the five-time Trainer of the Year believes Pacquiao will be able to catch Bradley coming in and tally his first knockout win in his last five fights.
But if Bradly chooses to run, Roach knows the fight could go longer—though not the full 12 rounds.
“I don’t see it (12 rounds) happening right now, but if it does I’m not worried,” said Roach. “I expect Manny to win every round. As long as we put up a good fight and keep the pace up, I’ll be satisfied.”
According to Roach, Bradley may be durable and tough, but is prone to make some mistakes expecially when he gets excited.

will it be on sky sports? or is it a box office event?
The previous couple of fights have been available on Sky Sports for free. (albeit around 3am/4am)
Unfortunately I can't get Sky right now so will have to think of something else via internet.

You're quite right joe.
His last few performances have been way under par.
Apparently he's now a reformed character.
No more late nights, no more drinking and no more womanising.
Well that's what he declared.

I wish he would stay out of Philippine politics....
Pacquiao v Bradley like PH v China
MANILA, Philippines (UPDATE 1) – Veteran sports analyst Ronnie Nathanielsz believes undefeated American boxer Timothy Bradley does not have the goods to beat 8-division boxing champ Manny Pacquiao.
Nathanielsz said Bradley’s bluster will not be enough to negate Pacquiao’s speed and punching power. He likened Bradley to the Philippines trying to take on China’s military might in the fight over Scarborough shoal.
“If you are hungry to win, you must have the weapons to win. He said he’s ready to go to war. How can you go to war without any bullets, any arsenal?” he told radio dzMM.
“I hate to make a comparison – it’s like the Philippines going to war with China in Scarborough shoal. We have the heart and the courage but we don’t have the weapons,” he added.
Nathanielsz said one reason why Pacquiao will be driven to put on a good showing in the Bradley bout is his poor performance in his last bout against Juan Manuel Marquez.

It's £15, but I doubt if I'm gonna pay.
I wouldn't have thought there would be enough people in this country willing to pay that much for a Pacquiao fight (unless it was against a local fighter). They should have just put it on Sky.
