Hi,
I have been living in uk for 5 years with partner, and have daughter born here with british partner.
Planning on getting married this year.
I want to then apply for right to abode in uk via section 8.
One problem I have is, I have lost my passport.
How can I apply for a new one, or a renewal from uk?
I cannot appear in person to collect it because I can't get there without a passport, and I can't get a passport unless I appear in person.
A Catch 22 situation!
Any advice will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance

Hi there,
Sorry but I'm not totally clear on this.
Which passport have you lost?

What is your entitlement to "Right of Abode" ? or do you mean you will apply for ILR?
If you feel you could claim ROA you can apply for a Certificate of Entitlement.

Sorry for my confusion.

hello robotk

yeah as terpe asked, which passport did you lost? have you report your stolen passport to the police or the embassy?? it is wise to do it immediately to prevent identity theft....any photocopies of your passport ?? it will also help to expedite the replacement process.
