Same sex marraiges in Phils

Am posting this uo on behalf of a pal who currently has no web access ....English pal of mine has a same sex long term partner in Phils who he wants to bring to the UK to live with him , now i am sure he cant get married in Phils as same sex partnerships are shunned upon so hes been advised to get married in Hong Kong or Thailand although i suspect the British Embassy in Manila can perform this and then in due course apply for a spouse / samesex visa .

Any helpful thoughts , advice greatly appreciated as always .

Hello,when i had my CFO last month i talked with this guy who is leaving for UK.He said that he and his partner was married at British Embassy in Manila and they paid P 15,000 for the ceremony and they applied for same sex marriage visa tho they applied twice and had an appeal which runs for 2 years.
