View Full Version : Can I Travel to European Countries with my spouse visa?

hi everyone! it's me again! I am just wondering if anyone here knows the answer to my husband's question-Can he take me out of the country into, say-France just on my spouse visa? or do i need to get a visa for that specific country? i tried google search the answer but i cannot find a clear answer ^_^ any idea or useful links will be very much appreciated!

Thank you Leolady, we know about the schengen visa but is still having doubts whether to get one or not ^_^ thanks anyway! might just apply for one then just to be sure!

You can go to many EU countries on a Schengen Visa. Much easier and simpler as the spouse of a UK Citizen.
Just decide which country you want to visit then apply for a Schenghen Visa from that country's Embassy.

There are quite a few threads here on that subject. A quick search might be helpful for you.

You UK spouse visa is not considered a travel document.
