Immigration is one of those things that is never far below the surface in this country. It's been well above it for the past few days.

I like to think that I remain objective over such issues and approach them without bias. Judging for myself I would say that numbers are the be all and end all here. It appears to be a case of seeking a reduction in numbers regardless (without any discernment) - thats whats wrong with this numbers game.

Numbers and stats are essential and beneficial. It is how we interpret them that counts.

Its all a load of tosh. They dont know the exact figures.
