how do we count the 15 days from June 18 that letter issued and it just arrives now the 27th of June..very short notice..for 15 days to have my biometric done or the application would be invalid:bigcry:

you will need to go to a post office that offers that facility (check online for your nearest one), u dont need an appointment they do it while you wait and they send off the information to the UKBA. I think the cost is £19.50 best be quick now Moy and perhaps let them know now about the delay in receiving their letter.

Try giving the UKBA a call and explain the situation, also from memory the 15 days they mention are working days so u get 3 weeks effectively. the website is as follows in order to find yr nearest branch http://www.postoffice.co.uk/counter-services/passport-identity/biometric-enrolment-foreign-nationals

U just need the letter that the UKBA sent you which is proof who u are , they then return that with your biometric data direct to UKBA. Doesnt matter what u wear.
