A £6m memorial to the 55,573 airmen of Bomber Command who died fighting Nazi Germany is to be unveiled by the Queen.

It's an absolute disgrace that these men's sacrifice has never been recognised by the nation, no campaign medal and 60 odd years to build a donation funded memorial.

My uncle died in a bomber in the war, long before i was born of course (innocent teenage face smiley)

They were pretty much sitting ducks to start with, I think

Can't believe the PC nonsense about this, well done to all who pushed it through.
