Hi, ive not posted on here before but i have been reading posts for the last few months. Yesterday my fiance got an email back saying "your visa will be dispatched shortly" :) Hopefully this means that she will be with me in the UK in the next weeks. we are trying not to get carried away until we see the Visa but we are both really excited at the momemt

Id just like to thank everybody on here who has posted advice & shared their journey. It has really helped when we have been stressing out about everything. This really is a very difficult and stressful journey and i hope that you all get what you are looking for. Fingers crossed for now, i'll let you know what the outcome is.

I was wondering if anybody has ever known somebody receive that email and not get their visa? I admit it would be very strange of them to send an email out worded like that & then issue a refusal but as you might expect we are both thinking of every possible outcome.

The waiting really is the hardest part. We were very organised in our application and i flew over to the Philippines before we made our application to make sure we had everything we needed. we never expected any problems but i think its fair to say we have both been very worried & stressed while we waited for a reply. We were so happy when this email arrived....Just really hope it is what it says it is.....

I was really surprised at the amount of time it took. We submitted the application about 3 weeks ago & its been approved already!!!!!!!! we both expected to be waiting much longer than that.

I also got an email from Royal Mail today, my olympic tickets are being delivered today as well :) What a brilliant day.

I still cant believe it. I went straight onto Skype as soon as she told me it had been delivered! Plus today is payday!!!!!!!!!! What an amazing day it is today
