Local Cinema

There are two cinemas here on the island. Both are quite old and small too. One is just a few minutes walk from where we live. The local manager for a good many years, here, passed away recently and out of respect I phoned in to enquire about the forthcoming funeral this saturday. They said it will be at 11.30, 13.00, 16.50 and 19.00. :icon_lol:

Anyhow. Me and Mrs Lastlid will be going tonight to watch Amazing Spiderman in 3D. There hasn't been an awful lot on recently, unless I have missed something. I have a feeling that 3D might actually be good for this kind of movie. Primarily Mrs Lastlids choice so I will blame her if it isn't so good.

I took my boy there (Orlando) back in 2004.
We had a great time. :)

The Jaws ride was pretty realistic as you are in a real boat on a real body of water and they use the same animatronic (?) creature as in the actual movie.

Never been. We went to a place in Spain called Port Aventura which is or was Universal Studios....

I am guessing that they are no longer a part of the Universal group...
