The UKBA's reputation is suffering a further blow with the publication today of a report by the House of Commons Home Affairs Select Committee. It is still processing enough cases to populate Newcastle-upon-Tyne.

UK Border Agency backlog worries MPs
The UK Border Agency faces a backlog of more than 275,000 failed migrants who need to be removed from the country, a group of influential MPs has said.

Tucked away is yet another example of the farcical way in which the UKBA operates :-
"The MPs also recommended that UKBA inspectors stopped announcing their visits to colleges so that "bogus" institutions could be prevented from abusing the immigration system."
