Some women value their virginity so much till they find the right man for them while others not.But I think some women today just not bother about it.but in my case before I really waited till I meet the right man which is my hubby now because for me in my opinion sex is not really something to experience just because your friends does it and the so called peer pressure.Sex for me is sacred!!!Amen...:D

virginity is the most precious gift to your husband. Its important for the moral values especially to filipinos and its a self respect.beside sex is a sacred thing, its a union of two peoples body and spirit who love and treasure their life together.its not for pleasure and sexual gratification as what happened mostly to the young generation, no more dignity and moral. its sad really, and thats one of the many causes of the relationship that broke up.

I might sound a little bit of a feminist here but since I already reached the age of consciousness and have been in a lot of studies about culture, woman emancipation and to add my experience that shaped me as what I become now, here is what I think of it:

I take you back where my life gravitates on my new discoveries about growing up. I used to spend my summer vacation with my GrandMa (mother side)., nothing bad about her but since she was raised up in a very traditional Filipino family all of us grandchildren have to be educated to our traditional ways. This means, absolutely no make-ups, no playing outside, no malicious look at the boys, straight home after school, observe every good conduct at home and out, give respect to elders, pray in the morning-noon-afternoon-evening, NO SEX TOPIC should ever mention inside our home. Talking about sex with elders is a TABOO. How does someone with a curious mind and a growing up individual deal with all her questions that needs answers about sex? When I realize that that kind of world doesn't fit me anymore I started to ask why? Why?...As I grew up I understand how can a powerful religion affect every culture and every society all over the world. My country has been dominated by Spaniards and yes with the catholic religion our culture has been stirred up for centuries we have been left behind ignoramus by our exploiters. And mind you, the teaching of being a good catholic involve being a virgin when you face the marriage in front of our GOD eyes and laws. And this teaching I later understand serves to manipulate people. (to be continued some other time)

Part II

Sex is understanding yourself as a whole, it is a part of growing up, (I don't mean have sex with everyone you encounter in a bar). You don't owe it to anyone else you owe it to yourself. If you fall in love with someone and both decided to explore a more emotional involvement then you should do it, that does not make me a person with no morals it is an important part of growing up. Having sex with someone you have loved in the past doesn't mean I will have less self esteem. If I have loved several times in my life would that make me a bad person? Will the person who I will love next will hold it against me?
As we have different views about sex, I think it depends on how someone experience it and how his/her beliefs and experience about sex made of him/her. I remind you readers that I am talking about healthy sex and not pornography.

Part III

I do respect those who hold their virginity but I also respect those who are not afraid learning about life. I don't believe of giving my virginity to the man I will marry in the future will make me better than those are not. I don't see it as a proof of my unfailing faith and beliefs. Sexual maturity is a very important part of our life. I will explore things which I know would enriched my knowledge and would give me wisdom.
