With my wifes FLR application the biometric request arrived approximately one week later, that was in April but needless to say there has been no further movement in our application since. Maybe cos of the Olympics they are getting even further behind with their workload but as long as u know that they have your money I am sure everything is ok however its very frustrating for all of us in the meantime:)

I wouldnt be surprised if it takes 6 months for the complete process, only a government department could get away with such a timescale, any commercial enterprise offering such a long winded delay would be out of business in no time.

Just got a Biometric request letter from UKBA for my Step daughter......but not one for my wife!

Is this going to be another UKBA balls up...or maybe it will arrive in the next post?

Phew!!.....Thankfully it arrived in the next post....strange how they got seperated though. So its off to Crawley ASAP to get them processed and goodbye to another £40!. Big relief to now have both though.
