Its only half time for John Terry.....there's a gruelling 2nd half still to go...partly based on what he admitted in court...

"Chelsea captain John Terry has been charged by the Football Association after last season's incident with QPR defender Anton Ferdinand.
Terry, 31, is alleged to have used "abusive and/or insulting words and/or behaviour" in the 23 October match.
The FA statement continues: "It is further alleged that this included a reference to the ethnic origin and/or colour and/or race of Ferdinand."
Terry denies the charge and has requested a personal hearing."

"Earlier this month Terry was cleared at Westminster Magistrates' Court of racially abusing Ferdinand during the Premier League game between the west London sides.
It was alleged Terry had insulted Ferdinand, describing him as "black" and using extreme sexual swear words.
But in reaching a not guilty verdict, chief magistrate Howard Riddle stated it was "possible that what was said was not intended as an insult but rather as a challenge to what he believed had been said to him".
The prosecution had to prove beyond reasonable doubt that Terry had used the words in an insulting manner, which it could not.
But the FA only has to prove its case "on the balance of probabilities", a far lower burden of proof.
A statement on the FA website .said Terry remains available to play for England pending the outcome of the case.
The governing body went on: "This charge is the result of the FA's long-standing enquiries into this matter, which were placed on hold pending the outcome of the criminal trial, and relates to rules governing football only.""

An absolute joke, it's the FA that is in disrepute, Terry was cleared in a court of law so they think their star chamber of Bobby Charlton type duffers is a higher body. Despicable two faced bunch, if I was Terry I would give them the two fingers, the FA were only too happy to pick him for the Euro's but that was OK 'cos the court case hadn't happened. Best England Captain for years, talk about cutting off their nose to spite their face.

Looks like Ferdinand's foul mouthed rants have been given the nod - does Lord Brooking still work for the FA ?

 ... as if the law itself isn't a BIG enough ass as it IS! I refer, of course, to all this modern-day, 'Political Correctness' nonsense. Even so, the same law recently cleared Terry! Yet now, the FA is [apparently] placing ITSELF ABOVE the law :xxsmilie_auslachen: ... or as good as ... ! :doh

The CPS were not able to force the prosecution. That doesn't mean he wasn't guilty.

He has not been found guilty under the law of the land. But he has indeed broken some of the rules of the FA. Subtle difference.
