Good day to all! I have a question regarding the topic I posted above. Is it possible to register my son as a British citizen if he's in the Philippines? Both me and my husband are in the UK. Or must the application be really done where he is? 'cause if that's the case then my mom who serves as his guardian at the moment will be the one to apply for him. Thank you.

I don't know the answer, but I'd suggest having a word with the Home Office immigration unit in Liverpool.

Logic suggests that if the paperwork is in order anyone can file it.

Yes, that's what I thought, too, since our son's only 2 years old. Okay, I'm searching for the Liverpool Home Office number now. Thank you, CBM!

I take it that either yourself or your husband are a British national. I don't know the specific answer, but as long as your guardian in phils can provide all the documentaion necessary that satifies the C2 form and supporting documents then it might be possible. Good luck
