Hi folks I'm I right in saying that the Phils gov are making it very difficult for foriegners to emigrate to the Phils & or even have long extended visas are have the Phils gov made any new laws & restrictions regarding this or is it just rumours

just read it too, but cant make head or tails of it, must be tired or my age, does it make a differance if you are married to a filipino, cheaper i mean

I think basically you have to be able to show a minimum regular income/pension and also have a certain amount of money 'locked' into savings/investments.

I haven't really had a good read of it myself yet.

I think (if I had the cash :rolleyes:) I'd just meet the minimum requirements there and then invest the rest back here. :)

...Obviously running it all by a good accountant here first.

Hi folks,

Am I correct in assuming thats for unmarried folk wanting to retire in Philippines?

As a husband of a Filipino I assume its still straight forward if we decide to live in the Philippines together?
