My wife amy had her appointment today to gain uk passports for our two children. After full inspections of our documents and nearly 2 hours wait. My wife was told to expect our passports in 6 weeks by courier.
If it was not for this site specially steve r i would of more than likely tried to do a dna. Now i am working on the settlement visa for my wife. I hope to apply in April when i receive my p60 with my earnings on.
god bless the philippines

Brilliant news Sheldon :Jump::Jump: I am so pleased for you and your family.
They told us to expect a 6 week wait too, but our Vincent's came in just about 4 weeks.

Myrna applied for HERS - using the Post Office Checking Service - last Wednesday ... when SHE was also told to expect a wait of around *six weeks ... with the added possibility of receiving a :telephone: call to attend for an interview (whereabouts the female member of staff didn't know - but ... :anerikke: ... most likely, the Glasgow IPS Office!) since it is her first British Passport application. Hopefully, though - like your Vincent's - it'll take *less time to process. ;)
