;) "Heavenly" if this sort of soothing, background instrumental were to be played in large, city centre *departmental stores ... INSTEAD of the raucous, inane, screeching racket :333: - customers are forced to put up with - emanating from the loudspeakers nowadays in so many of these these *places.

T'would truly be music to the ears ... and add an infinitely more pleasant, relaxing new dimension to the whole shopping experience! ;)

I do like the song and the version you link is a nice one.

I do mostly prefer to hear lyrics too, unless an original version is instrumental, then I prefer not have lyrics.:Erm:

Anyway I hope you don't mind that I post my personal favourite version

Not at all Terpe, it just goes to show how this track can be interpreted in so many ways and I love this Bryan Adams version too, but Philip Mills is not a rock/pop star at least not yet and I admire the way he plays this track so much so I wanted to share it. :)

One of my most treasured possessions...my original flyer: :)

I still have the half-ticket too (weekend).

I remember that Peter Grant, Led Zeps manager insisted that their name appeared in larger print on the flyers and tickets, shrewd move that especially considering the pedigree of others on the bill.

Funnily enough, at the time I only rated their performance as distinctly 'good'.

Santana were superb and I became a huge fan of theirs ever-after, but of course the band that (IMO) were just incredible...PINK FLOYD. :)
