It is not just SM. All Malls and Banks and public buildings, have security at the entrance.

I found it unnerving, but It is better to be safe than sorry.

Feeling your bum is just an impression, some of them can frisk you even without you realizing they are doing it.
Probably you were wearing a baggy t-shirt or shirt, and he looked for a weapon tucked in your waistline.

On the other hand... He could have been after a date...:D

Obviously - my strap line for this thread was tongue in cheek - BUT - I must admit - some security guards do tend to rather linger on the old 'bum feel' - I get scared out of my wits sometimes!!!!

concerning security guards, beware, in the philippines, cannot remember which airport it was on think was from manila to palawan, i had to stand on a little box and you got the usual body search :NoNo:, and i had some english coins in my pocket, the security said whats in my pocket :D, i took the coins out to show him and the cheeky :censored: took a £1 coin, from my hand , smiled and put it in his pocket, then said i could go, i was a bit tooo :omg: to say much, told my wife later and she went :Rasp:, for not saying something, next time anyone who tires it will get my big foot up his :action-smiley-081:.

also on a journey to pinyland, i sat next to a english guy, we got talking and he told me he was going to a wedding of a work firend of his , a pinoy guy who was sat next to him, he told me he was going with him, to escort him to this hotel and wedding, as the first time he went, on his back to england at manila int, he got lost, ended up somewhere he shouldn't have gone, got stopped by a security guard, who took him in a room, and was told to empty his pockets etc, and the guard open his wallet took all him money, and sent back inside the airport..
