did you receive a confirmation letter that the UKBA got your application? because on their website they said that they will send a letter to confirm but I haven't got one...
thanks

nope i didn't received a confirmation letter...i ring them three times regarding the certificate of application... coz it stated in their website If several weeks have elapsed since you submitted your application, and you have not received your certificate of application, you can phone our European enquiries contact centre to check whether we have sent you a certificate....after my last call to them they send my certificate of application & residence card at the same day... did you try to ring them?

I am worried if they received mine I contacted the European enquiries and it took me 2 and half hours to get a hold of someone and the representative told me that they do not have any record of my name and so they gave me an address to send a letter to confirm .... so I will have to write a letter to European Casework.... I am worried

I know that the application could take long but at least an acknowledgment that they got it would be nice
