visit visa for my mother?

hi guys! im planning to get my mother to visit me in UK.

I am on a 27 month spouse visa and and this expires at the end of october 2013.i want to invite my mother on feb or march for a visit...

i can do this on my spouse visa or through my husband whos uk citizen?

i looked on uk border website but i got confused a touch by it...

any help greatly appreciated...as my mum needs to see her new grand daughter! :Hellooo:

you and your hubby can sponsor her..both your name can be indicated in the form..include a letter (signed by both you and your hubby) stating the reasons why your mother is visiting and the intentions of her returning to the Philippines..also, include photos of the spare room where your mum can stay and your bank/savings accounts if you're sponsoring all the cost of her stay here.
