hi everyone:Hellooo:..im mike and i am new here in this forum.Im from the philippines...I hope you can help me.I have this irish friend that willing to sponsor me to go in Northern Ireland...and he will provide me a job there...and as for this moment he said to me to wait and he will arrange some papers..and also the work permit....BUt i have this questions

Which UK visa should I need to apply in able to go there?:NoNo:
And how long to process this visa...
if i apply for a study visa in northern ireland...can i choose a 1 year program and at the same time to work?


actually i want to go there so badly....:bigcry:

Hi Mikey, welcome to the forum.

Beware!!

There is absolutely no way your friend can provide you with a work permit, unless he is an approved licensed UKBA sponsor.

If you have a student visa you are allowed to work for a specified maximum number of hours. I believe it's 10 hours per week, but I might be wrong.

Mikey ... :welcomex: to the friendly, online filipino/uk community. By all means take a look at the link provided by my friend and fellow Moderator, Terpe. But like he ALSO advises ... tread warily :cwm24: where [purported] provision of work permits are concerned.
