Canal Trip and Wine Tasting!

Yesterday, my husband and I went to a Business Meeting in Hemel Hempstead and we enjoyed the atmosphere.

We went for a boat ride at the canal in Hemel Hempstead for ab hour. Seeing the heron made my heart filled with joy. It reminded me of my early years way back in our province in Samar where we used to ride on a "bang-ka" or "baluto" in our dialect with friends and we had a great company!

After an hour we went to a small room together with other attendees of the said Business meeting and had something to eat before the wine tasting quiz started.

Finally, the wine tasting begun....there were 3 red wines and 3 white wine...we need to quess each wine what grape type, year, price and country of origin....

After the 6 rounds of wine tasting....I felt a bet tipsy!:D

At the end my husband won in the quiz...and he got a prize of a bottle of wine!!!

Sounds good. I stayed in the Watermill Hotel in HH 10 years ago - that bordered the Grand Union Canal.

It's a nice place - I remember having an excellent full English Breakfast sat outside by the mill pond
