Was just wondering any filipino nurse who have recently emigrated to UK whether u took ur IELTS for language requirment test or was ur degree in nursing acceptable answers asap please...

There are a lot of Filipino nurses here in the uk. I also know one who just arrived months ago. You can register as a nurse here as well provided that you have all the essential requirements needed for the registration. Requirements are:
Registered nurse in the Philippines
At least 12 months post qualification paid experience
IELTS overall bands core of 7, listening, reading,speaking and writing should be all 7.
Then you will still have to undergo an adaptation course which they called as ONP (Overseas Nursing Programme) for 6 months or 12 months depending on the councils suggestion.
