Portuguese men-of-war have been washed up on beaches in Cornwall according to council officials.

Rose and I went to Newquay, Cornwall this weekend. We went bodyboarding on Fistral Beach - no sign of any of these critters luckily. The water was a bit chilly though, I thought it would be a degree or two warmer now it is Sept.
