Was just wondering which is the best company to use to send my supporting documents to my wife in the phils and do I have to attach anything on outside of parcel for customs thank you...

I always use DHL as they have quite a few places you can drop off. Normally takes 2 to 3 days and costs about £50. Dont seal the package because they will check it and put it in a small box. I believe WH Smith and Staples act as agents for them.

i work part time 4 dhl they give you the envelope to put your doc,s into most willbe on the truck the same day and have many agents if you cant get to one of there sites its scaned at start and signed at other end

For important documents I've always used DHL.
One other reason, as Marco said, they have service centres at Staples and WH Smith.
