If you want to get rid of boredom then do ironing, cooking, washing, gardening, hoovering, toilet and kitchen cleaning, tidying up. Theres LOADS of things to do outhere. the only thing that you need to look for and have is the COURAGE and DETERMINATION to do things.

Do something before it gets worse.

Speak to your partner and work something out together or perhaps look for some work and if all else fails :do_it:

Hi Gretta,

First few weeks here totally bored, But when I found my way to get to town by myself, walk to nearby shops..I have things to do aside staying in the house. You may also go to local library, community volunteering work, read books, if u are interested with craft works...knitting, scrapbooking, crosstitch..:xxgrinning--00xx3:

You could try joining the local library - if it's anything like our main one you can read all the daily & local papers, untold magazines, surf the internet, borrow books all free of charge and if you want to pay there is a coffee machine and you can hire dvds

For me lately its been going out on my new bike and riding around London.
Before that I used to love coming home from work and planning my next trip to Philippines, then booking my flight. After that i was too looking forward to going there to be bored. Now me and my wife are both in London and the trips to Philippines have become less frequent. Gone from 4 times a year to around 1. I think I prefered it when she was still over there.

I used to get bored when I was younger. Now I don't give myself time be bored...I can always find some thing to do..... I love cooking, trying new dishes from throughout the world.... Is my great love. I have lots of cookery books now... I hate having the same dish twice in a month...... Why not look at Amazon ? The books are cheap. I'm exploring Morrocan this month.... ;) Just a thought. My new wife and I can't bake... Nigela Lawson your next on my list!!!!! :laugher:
