Information on EU migration

Hello guys, I would like to know if I travel from the Philippines to the Republic of Ireland with wife can she accompany me using my EU treaty right of freedom of movement?? :Erm:

Only if she has a schengen visa, which is fairly easy and free for non eu spouses.

Ireland is not part of Uk. Schengen visa is all over EU, means outside Uk.

thats incorrect, the UK and Ireland are not schengen agreement countries.

You hold a valid travel document issued by one of the following countries in accordance with Article 28 of the Geneva Convention: Belgium, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovak Republic, Spain, Sweden, or Switzerland.
You hold either a valid residence card 4 EU FAM or a valid permanent residence card 4 EU FAM issued by the Garda National Immigration Bureau (http://www.garda.ie/Controller.aspx?Page=31) under the European Communities (Free Movement of Persons) (No. 2) Regulations 2006 (SI 656 of 2006) (http://www.irishstatutebook.ie/2006/en/si/0656.html).
You are a family member of an EU citizen and you hold a document called "Residence card of a family member of a Union citizen" as referred to in article 10 of Directive 2004/38/EC (pdf) (http://eur-lex.europa.eu/LexUriServ/site/en/oj/2004/l_158/l_15820040430en00770123.pdf).

thanks rusty for your reply!! My wife is unfortunately still in the Philippines.. We will apply for her entry clearance in November and I will spend Christmas with her in December. As my wife will then be accompanying me in Ireland, I think all we need is my passport, marriage certificate, hotel bookings, evidence of funds, flight intenary and certificate of employment.. :Erm:
