Our situation is also the same with Crampton and Robert86.. applying for an EEA family permit

so here it goes.. my husband is an Austrian citizen working in the UK for few months now he is self employed he is an I.T in his own company and he earns 4k pounds a month. We've been married since April 4, 2012 and been together since 2009. We've been travelling in some ASIAN countries too like Thailand 2010 and Singapore 2011 also I've been to Austria twice 2011 for 1 week to meet his family and 2012 for 3months while I am in Austria he usually come and visits me in Austria for weekends every after 2 or 3 weeks and comes back in UK to work.. his been in Philippines for many times like 6-8 times..

so our problem is he can only show 3months proof ''financial'' since he has been travelling and we are worried that because we cannot provide 6months proof then maybe the visa will be deny - :Erm:

and also does an eea family permit requires an english exam??

help us please.. we really want to spend Christmas together :Help1:

Attached is the link to the UKBA list of documents required. I can see no mention of 6 months proof of income. It does say if he's been resident here for more than 3 months then they must provide proof that they are qualified. There is also a paragraph referring to self employed people.
Have a read.
