hi everyone,
we´re planning to lodge our settlement application next week. my Filipino husband in UK will send other documents on Monday. my problem is that my daughter´s biological father can´t be found so i was not able to accomplish the letter of consent which is required by the British Embassy BUT i was able to gather other documents to support my claim that i am the sole responsible for my child´s upbringing since the biological father abandoned her after birth. my child is using his surname but we´re not married so my child is illegitimate. i have sworn statement from a neighbor, a friend, a relative, certificate from her pediatrician stating that i was the one who always bring her for consultation, a certificate from our baranggay stating that my child was abandoned and I´m the only one who provides her needs (emotional, financial) before i got married and my own affidavit of support. would that be enough to convince the ECO to grant my daughter a visa. I´m a bit worried because i don´t want to leave her. i don´t think i could still find that man and make him sign the letter of permission. sigh... please help!
