This has been the situation since yesterday evening on both my comps using Firefox and Internet Explorer. Anyone else got the same problem ?

I'm using Chrome and it's fine on mine...Keith said it might be some of the ads that are causing it. Some ads would load so slow and some don't.

Skyscanner may be the worst ad, so have a look which ad is after the first post if it loads slower than usual, but it's fine on mine and other browsers, and the servers not suffering any slowdown, I have a 3rd party monitor.
Someone on my Racing Forum (http://www.win2win.co.uk/forum/) said he finds it loads quicker on Chrome for him, but others say it is fine on whatever browser. I use IE9, and Rayna Chrome.
You can also find firewalls slowdown your internet.

If I'm honest mine is variable, but mostly it's a little slow.
If I splash out on a new hi-spec laptop and it's slow I'll shout-out then. But in the meantime I'll just put up with it.

Yes, it could be down to the spec of ones PC or laptop.

Or whatever is running on it.
Most of my software is now 'portable version' so that helps.
Some software is just too difficult for me to figure out how to convert to portable just now, but i'll figure it out sometime or other.
Amazing how many apps can be converted.
My laptop is not too bad a spec.

Seems OK on my desktop now, will have a look at lappy in the am. Like Gwap phone seems OK on the mobile version - phone wise I tend to use Chrome and sometimes the 'Droid browser
