it's assault and no laughing matter :NoNo:, but this made me :biggrin:

The woman said her husband had grown angry with her for 'making him live in the country' before the disturbance.

She added that he was bored as 'there is no place for him to walk'.

Crumbs, he certainly got a slice of jail-time for a half-baked charge, didn't he.
I thought at first the article was taking the rise. Maybe he should have buttered her a up a bit before bedtime instead . Still at least she wasn't too badly injured, otherwise he'd have been toast.

These newspapers sure must knead the dough, printing stuff like this though. :NoNo:

Jail seems a bit much for this ham-fisted attack. She used her loaf but he didn't. I guess where they lived there was no chance of a sandwich course in anger management :NoNo:!
