I was working down the East coast today. Whitby - Scarborough- Bridlington-Driffield.
Lovely sunny but chilly morning, but then turned to hail and sleet later in the afternoon. Apparently it has now snowed on the moors. :(

When I was getting close to flying to the Philippines last year to get married, I recall that the Icelandic volcano went up!

my first trip to the phils was the xmas where england came to a stand still 3 years ago, i thought i would set of early for my 10pm flight, flying from mcr we set of just after dinner, got there just after 2pm nothing on the roads what so ever, that was a long wait that was, but i would rather be early then late anytime:smile:

I remember one Christmas time flight to Philippines. It really was a very very cold early morning and we sat on the runway area for 2 hours whilst they tried and tried to de-ice the wings. :omg:
That was one time I felt quite worried for a long time
