hi need advice my return ticket from philippines to u.k expires 8th may and I plan to bring g f home fingers crossed on an unmarried partner visa after living together for 2 years .The question is do I risk buyiny her a ticket for the same plane so we travel back together before we apply for visa or is it best to wait until visa is denied or approved ? .If I buy the ticket now with cathay pacific It will be a good price .but if I leave it until april may she might not get on the same plane plus the price will be rather high.advice please.

We don't know your personal situation so can't really say whether your visa will be simple. However, if you buy a ticket now, check the price to change the ticket - might be no more than buying the more expensive ticket later = you can't lose (assuming her Visa is granted!).

If I was considering the prospect of being able to bring my partner back to the UK I wouldn't be fussed over a couple of hundred quid extra on a ticket to have her on the same flight.
Concentrate brainpower and cash on getting the visa in her passport. :xxgrinning--00xx3:
